Rotterdam has 600 km of cycle paths and Ahoy offers bike parking just outside their main entrance. ARRIVAL BY PLANE From Rotterdam The Hague Airport, you can reach the very heart of Rotterdam very quickly, travelling by car, taxi (25-30 minutes) or public transport (50-60 minutes). From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, you can reach Rotterdam Central Station in 25 minutes by direct train. From there, it is 10 minutes by metro to Ahoy. ARRIVAL BY TRAIN One of the fastest and easiest ways to get to Rotterdam is to travel by train. When travelling from France and Belgium, you should take the Thalys (it runs ten times per day). When travelling from the United Kingdom, you will arrive directly by Eurostar. ARRIVAL BY CAR Coming from Amsterdam/The Hague Take the motorway A4. Follow Rijswijk, Delft, Schiedam to Europoort. Take the A4 through the Benelux tunnel. From Benelux follow the A15 direction Rotterdam. Take the exit RotterdamCharlois (19). From the Groene Kruisweg take the 4th exit right onto the Oldegaarde. Then turn left onto the Zuiderparkweg at the traffic lights. On the Zuiderparkweg take the first exit right. RET N.V. is the public transport company of the Rotterdam city region. The company runs 5 metro lines, 9 tram lines as well as 58 bus routes. The metro station Zuidplein on lines D and E is adjacent to Ahoy Rotterdam.
