However, there are no real-life data on the impact of switching to ICAB/RPV on sleep disturbances (SD) in PLWH. Therefore, we aimed at assessing and investigating this aspect in our cohort. Method: This is a prospective monocenter cohort study. By using validated questionnaires and specific cut-off (Epworth Sleepiness scale, ESS, Insomnia severity Index, ISI, Berlin Questionnaire for sleep apnea, SA, and Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index, PSQI), a multidimensional assessment of SD was performed to all PLWH who consented before starting ICAB/RPV and 12 weeks after the switch. Demographics, life-style habits, laboratory, and clinical data were collected from medical health records. Data were analysed through SPSS v27 (IBM Stat. Corp., Armonk, NY, USA). Results: To June 2023, 46 PLWH were included, 76.1% males, with a median age of 48.5 (IQR: 41-57), 50% had multimorbidity, 13% was on polypharmacy. Median age living with HIV and CD4+T cell count nadir were 10 (5-19.5) years and 360 (205500) cell/mm , respectively. The reason to start a LA strategy was patient’s choice in all cases. Baseline antiretroviral regimens were mostly: TAF/FTC/RPV (39.1%) and DTG/3TC (32.6%). No significant changes were observed in any of the scores for each questionnaire, but for PSQI. A trend of general improvement, even if not statistically significant can be observed in almost all the sleep parameters (Table 1), and 37% PLWH reported a subjectively improved sleep quality. Conclusions: To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study exploring impact of switching to ICAB/RPV on SD in PLWH. Despite containing integrase inhibitor, which was associated with SD, ICAB/RPV seems to have a favorable impact on SD.
