Zhong , C. Chen , N. Yu , X. Di , M. Li , H. Wei The Second Hospital of Nanjing Affiliated to Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, Department of Infectious Disease, Nanjing, China, Nanjing Medical University, Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, School of Public Health, Department of Infectious Disease, Nanjing, China General data Abstract category: Antiretroviral therapy – observational studies Abstract body Purpose: To investigate the survival of patients with HIV/AIDS without baseline dyslipidemia who received antiretroviral therapy for up to 8 years in Nanjing, and to explore the risk factors for dyslipidemia after ART treatment. Method: HIV-infected patient who initiated ART at the Second Hospital of Nanjing from March 2013 to December 2021 and had no dyslipidemia at baseline were retrospectively analyzed, with the development of any dyslipidemia at follow-up as a composite observation endpoint. The Kaplan-Meier method was used to plot survival curves for different ART regimens, and the Log-rank test was used to compare differences in outcomes between groups, and the effect of baseline characteristics on dyslipidemia outcomes was analyzed by multifactorial Cox regression. Results: The Lopinavir/ritonavir- (LPV/r) based regimen was found to have a significantly higher rate of dyslipidemia than the Nevirapine- (NVP) and Efavirenz- (EFV) based regimens. Further study of individual lipid indices revealed that the rates of triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) abnormalities were significantly higher in the LPV/r-based regimen than in the NVP- and EFV-based regimens, and the rates of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and LDL-C abnormalities were significantly higher in the EFV-based regimen than in the NVP-based regimen; Older age group, baseline TG and baseline LDL-C were risk factors for the development of dyslipidemia in patients risk factors for the development of dyslipidemia, and body mass index (BMI) <18.5 kg/m , CD4≥200 cells/mm , non-LPV/r regimens, and HDL-C were protective factors for the development of dyslipidemia in patients. Conclusions: The LPV/r regimen group was significantly higher than that of EFV and NVP regimen group, and the abnormal rates of TG, TC and LDL-C were the favorites. The abnormal rates of HDL-C and LDL-C were significantly higher in the EFVbased regimen than in the NVP regimen. General conditions 1.
