Method: A retrospective observational study was conducted including all patients already on ART with virosuppression and switching to DTG/3TC. Weight, Liver parameters, lipids, FIB-4 score, before and after (12 and 24 weeks) the switch were analysed. Elastometric evaluation (stiffness, CAP, AGILE3+ score) was performed before and after (mean re-evaluation time 240 weeks) the switch to the DTG/3TC regimen. Results: 106 patients were enrolled in the analysis (Table 1). After 12 and 24 weeks, we observed a maintainance in viral suppression (<50 copies/mL) in 98,8% and 95,7% of patients respectively, and the proportion of patients with TND was 62.5% and 71%, respectively (Figure 1). No significant differences were observed in the CD4 and CD4/CD8 after switch (Figure 2). A significant reduction of total cholesterol was observed 12 and 24 weeks after switch, meanwhile we observed a significant reduction of LDL and triglycerides 12 weeks after switch. No difference in body weight was observed between the two observations (p 0.269). No significant difference was observed in Fib-4 score 12 weeks after the switch, whereas a significant difference was observed 24 weeks after the switch. Finally, no significant differences in steatosis, liver stiffness and Agile3+ score was observed after the observation period. Conclusions: In this real-life study DTG/3TC is confirmed as an effective regimen, while it is a regimen to be considered in patients with metabolic syndrome who have observed a significant reduction in lipid values. A neutral impact over time in terms of liver stiffness and fatty liver disease was also observed in this study, concluding that a DTG/3TC regimen should be considered in patients with liver disease.
